CORONA VIRUS
Never did I think I was going to experience a pandemic, but here I am, I the middle of
this pandemic called the corona virus. They say we contracted the virus directly from an animal.
hat animal was a bat, which transmitted the virus to another intermediate animal that brought the
virus to humans. The first known patients in the U.S. that got the infection while going in different nations or after coming in contact with somebody who had been to China or one of the other influenced zones. We don't know how severe this will be, however it might cause significant disruptions in our everyday lives. This can be spread so easily, we can pick it up with our hands and transfer them to our eyes, mouth, and nose when we touch our faces. This is why hand hygiene is important. Good hand hygiene means washing our hands not just after were using the restroom or before were eating but regularly throughout the day.
This disease has gotten people paranoid. Everyone once the heard about it and found out this disease was no joke they went out and bought every supply necessary in order to prevent and be safe. People were buying cleaning supplies and other thing enough to stock up for a while. Almost like if they were getting prepared to not be able to leave their homes for a while.Which is when right after they made us all go into quarantine. Many people lost their jobs because of the corona virus. People do not have money to pay their bills. There are barely people out in the streets. And if you see people most of them are guarded up with mask and gloved. Now this lead up to the nurses running out of supplies to keep themselves safe and healthy. We have doctors and nurses working every day in order give us the service to try to cure us you have come in contact with the virus. They are risking their lives, because most of them don’t have the necessary materials to keep themselves safe. This has also caused school to be cancelled. Children are no having their classes online at home. Many people who had the privilege to keep their jobs are working from home as well.
There are currently 374,329 total cases in the united states, and there are is a total death
of 12,064. The number just keep growing and growing. Florida has confirmed 42 deaths from
COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, raising the state’s death toll from the pandemic to 296. Those
updated numbers show 1,893 people hospitalized statewide. Miami-Dade County is now up to
5,126 confirmed cases, most in the state. Currently there is no vaccine available to prevent
corona. Prevention is better\than cure. Social distancing like maintaining distance of 3 feet and covering nose and mouth while sneezing and coughing. Washing hands with soap and water or alcohol based scrub before eating, after coughing, sneezing. Don’t touch mouth, nose and eyes when in a public place. it is said the elderly and the young children are the ones most at risk if the catch the virus, but doesn’t mean you can’t catch it or suffer severely from it if you’re in the ages between.
